“Skytordie” album release and concert @ Mir, Oslo. featuring live footage of “Fuck winter!!!!”
It went properly down @ Mir on Saturday and we had a blast! Thanks to everyone that claimed their way to our show. And thanks to Dj sissyfus for serving us bit/byte/balkan/Selector/break stuff and shouting in between songs. :)
Last night I was witness to this performance by Constance Tenvik & Daniel Lacey McDermott (aka. Captain Credible). I vidded this little clip from the last part of the show. It shows Daniel using his nice candle Midi controller. _Using Light sensitive resistors it sends values to his computer and “wobbles” the parameters of the sound. Especially epic was this last bit with this big party candle flame causing some serious sounds!

Lately I’ve come to respect this guy Galapagoose. He is the rincin of the beatz and the mixin of the lovely synth rivers of melted sawtooths. His latest release Commitments, a collaboration with % is, if the preview is what its about, totaly lovely. Music made with this epic bit of software MLRV. To bad I cant seem to find any info on using it with DIY controllers…
nice stuff going on here! looks like an awesome box the “this is not a bomb” for midi syncing gameboys. Apparently its not made any more, but you can DIY it here: http://www.preromanbritain.com/gwem/lsdj_midi/
